Dr. Arthur Berry Sr., Senior Pastor

Dr. Arthur Berry, Sr., is the founder and senior Pastor of Hope for the Community Mission located in Detroit, MI.  He is a graduate of Destiny School of Ministry and was ordained as a minister of the gospel. He also received his ministerial license from Lake Region Conference and was ordained by the City Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church.

 

Pastor Berry Sr., is the Commander Chaplain with the 2nd Precinct of the Detroit Police Department where he is the spiritual leader over seven chaplains and addresses the spiritual needs of the precinct. He also works with the aftercare program where he goes out to homes of victims of crime and provide them with spiritual care and resources to help them as needed.

 

Pastor Berry Sr., is also the Assistant Chief of the International Police and Fire Chaplain Association where he sits on the executive board.

 

Pastor Berry Sr., is passionate about the work he does for the Lord.  He has been commissioned by GOD to bring hope to the community. He has 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
